In order to continue to accommodate the company’s ambitious goals and high concepts of service, Riverland has split the corporate management tasks into three areas of core competence. Riverland is adding two further executives to its senior management team. Bernd Wehmöller, who previously had sole management control, is now concentrating on operations, human resources management and finance. He is being assisted by Ann Dempsey and Bernd Schwarzmaier, promoted from within Riverland’s own ranks. Ann Dempsey is now responsible for business strategy, marketing and partner management. Bernhard Schwarzmaier takes responsibility for sales and new client business. In Bernd Wehmöller’s view Riverland GmbH is one of the few IT companies that – despite the difficult market situation – have managed to continue growing and to generate new business. Extending the management of the business to a team of three is for him a logical consequence: It goes without saying for us that senior management plays a central role and works closely with clients and partners. And if you’ve got more clients and partners to look after, you’ve consequently also got to expand your management team. Along with Ann Dempsey and Bernhard Schwarzmaier, Wehmöller will now be devoting himself above all to the company’s clients and continued expansion. Bernhard Schwarzmaier adds that the only way to face up to the current economic challenges is with a clear split of responsibilities. What’s more, he says, Riverland is thus equipping itself ideally for its short, medium and long-term business goals. In this way we will achieve our aim of becoming the leading German Oracle integrator for CRM, business intelligence, master data management, Fusion Middleware and the OnDemand sector.
